Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil/Utilities Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. In this role, you will play a critical part in the design and analysis of water resource management and traffic infrastructure for a variety of development projects. You will conduct hydrological studies, design sustainable drainage solutions, and perform traffic impact assessments to ensure our projects meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

 

Responsibilities:

– Conduct comprehensive hydrology studies, including rainfall data analysis, IDF curve development, catchment area delineation, and watershed management.

– Design stormwater drainage systems, sustainable drainage solutions, and flood mitigation structures such as culverts, channels, and detention basins.

– Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and BOQs for stormwater networks.

– Review and assess storm-water network designs, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards (e.g., MODON, MOMRA, Riyadh regulations).

– Conduct traffic impact studies for new developments, analyzing traffic flow, capacity, and safety.

– Develop mitigation measures to address traffic impacts, including road design modifications, intersection improvements, and signal optimization.

– Prepare comprehensive traffic impact assessment reports in accordance with Riyadh’s local requirements.

– Coordinate and liaise with the relevant authorities to align and approve the submission related to hydrology studies, storm-water network and traffic impact studies.

– Ensure all designs and reports comply with local Saudi building codes, regulations, and environmental guidelines.

 

Requirements:

– Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.

– A minimum of 10 or more years of proven experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on utilities and infrastructure projects.

– Certifications in hydrology, traffic studies, storm-water design, and wet utilities are a must.

– Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using software like Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and CSWMM.- Strong understanding of local codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia, particularly in Riyadh.

– Excellent communication, and management skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.

– Willingness to relocate, if required.

– Must have a valid SCE Membership.

– Must have a valid IQAMA (if Non-Saudi).
