Jeddah Waterfront Project represents one of JDURC’s regeneration projects. The key objectives of the project are to transform the Jeddah Waterfront area into a modern world-class destination and a vibrant place to visit, live, work, invest, and enable effective public access and utilization by designing more interactive public realm space integrated with upgraded infrastructure networks and utilities. JDURC has identified 6 prime areas where JDURC focuses on renovation and revitalization which will act as a catalyst for commerce and tourism development namely.
Awards:
Big Project Middle East Award: This award recognizes companies and individuals that have substantially contributed to the construction and sustainability industries across the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries. Jeddah is the first city in Saudi Arabia to receive this award.
Makkah Excellence Award (Environmental Excellence Branch): Jeddah Municipality won this award from the Emirate of Makkah Region in 2018 for the Jeddah Waterfront Project.
