Overview

The Jeddah Waterfront Project is a JDURC regeneration initiative transforming the area into a world-class destination. It enhances public access through upgraded infrastructure and interactive public spaces. Six prime areas are targeted for renovation to drive commercial and tourism development.

Awards:

  • Big Project Middle East Award: This award recognizes companies and individuals who have substantially contributed to the construction and sustainability industries across the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries. Jeddah is the first city in Saudi Arabia to receive this award.
  • Makkah Excellence Award (Environmental Excellence Branch): Jeddah Municipality won this award from the Emirate of Makkah Region in 2018 for the Jeddah Waterfront Project.
