Design Manager

Description:

A highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in design management, with extensive knowledge of local codes and regulations. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing design projects from the initial concept phase through to detailed design, ensuring all projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

–  Lead and manage design projects from concept to detail design, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations and comply with local codes and regulations.

–  Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors, to align project goals, requirements and design solutions.

–  Oversee the design process, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget by managing design integration, schedule adherence, and resource allocation.

–  Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations, obtaining necessary permits for project execution.

–  Provide technical leadership and support to teams during the design and construction phases by resolving technical issues and mentor junior team members.

–  Conduct value engineering workshops to optimize project costs and performance.

–  Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks associated with design.

–  Manage design documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards.

Requirements:

–  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

– Minimum 10+ years of experience in design management with proven track record of successfully managing design projects from inception to completion in KSA.

– Knowledge and practical familiarity with local codes and regulations and experience in obtaining permits.

– Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.

–  Excellent English Language skills.

–  Must be SCE Certified (Professional or Consultant).

–  Must have a Valid and Transferable Iqama (if non-Saudi).
