The Diriyah Gate project preserves the historic Diriyah district while developing a heritage-focused urban area in western Riyadh. The Bulk Excavation phase includes 8,000,000 m³ of excavation for a 26-meter-deep metro station, along with crushing, screening, and hauling of materials to support reuse or disposal. This work lays the foundation for a regional hub of history, culture, and heritage around the UNESCO-listed Atturaif district.
