Overview

Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA), a public authority, have been tasked with preserving the historic Diriyah district of Riyadh while developing its surroundings along a heritage and traditional theme.

The new development is in the western district of Riyadh, KSA and is expected to become a center for history, heritage and culture at regional and national scale, with the UNESCO world heritage listed mud construction district of Atturaif, whose structures formed the origins of the House of Saud from the 1700’s.

Diriyah Gate Bulk Excavation one of the Major Phases of Diriyah Gate Project. The Enabling Works project that has been awarded to Al Yamama Company by Diriyah Gate Development Authority. This project is based on three major activities.

  • Bulk Excavation of Approximately 8,000,000 m³ with 26 meter deep Metro Station.
  • Crushing and Screening suitable excavated for reuse.
  • Hauling of unsuitable material.
