Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Landscape Architect to join our team in Riyadh and NEOM, Saudi Arabia. The Landscape Architect will be responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and sustainable. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regional flora, Saudi building codes, and environmental regulations, as well as excellent design and technical skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling landscape design concepts aligned with client briefs, project goals, and site conditions, considering factors such as sustainability, aesthetics, and functionality. Prepare sketches, renderings, and 3D models for visualization purposes.
  • Produce detailed construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape projects.
  • Select appropriate materials, plants, and landscaping elements for each project, taking into account local climate and environmental conditions.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure the successful implementation of landscape designs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in landscape architecture.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of landscape projects and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Communicate and effectively present design proposals and concepts to clients, securing approvals and addressing feedback.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience working as a Landscape Architect in a consultancy setting.
  • Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or other relevant landscape design software.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian building codes related to landscape design and construction, environmental regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to relocate, if required.
  • Must have a Valid SCE Membership.
  • Must have a Valid IQAMA, if Non-Saudi.
