Senior Structural Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate is Structural engineering, capable of overseeing complex engineering projects from inception to completion. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client specifications.

Responsibilities:

–  Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

–  Lead and oversee the review of design packages, plans and specifications ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy in design review processes.

–  Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure structural integrity and compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.

–  Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address structural design issues, resolve conflicts, and achieve consensus on recommended solutions.

–  Utilize advanced software tools and technologies for structural modelling, simulation, and analysis.

–  Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for structural designs and assessments.

–  Participate in project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

–  Attend project review workshops and communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met.

Requirements:

–  Bachelor’s degree or more in Civil Engineering, or a related field.

–  Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Structural Engineering, preferably within an engineering consultancy environment.

–  Excellent knowledge of engineering systems, technologies, principles, codes, and practices.

–  Ability to identify problems and develop innovative solutions with detail-oriented analytical approach.

–  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively.

–  Proficient in using Structural design software’s Staad, Etabs, Saap, Safe, Prokonand Robot etc.

–  Excellent English Language Skills.

–  Willingness to relocate, if required.

–  Must have a Valid SCE Membership (Professional or Consultant).

–  Must have a Valid and Transferable Iqama (if non-Saudi).
