Sustainability Architect

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Sustainability Architect to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. As a key member of our AOR department, you will play a crucial role in designing sustainable buildings and environments that meet client needs while minimizing environmental impact. You will guide projects from conception to completion, ensuring sustainability principles are integrated into every aspect of the design process.

Responsibilities:

–  Review and ensure architectural designs comply with Mostadam and LEED standards, as well as local building codes and regulations.

–  Integrate sustainable practices into all phases of design and construction, promoting energy efficiency, resource conservation, and environmental sustainability.

–  Prepare and submit necessary documentation for Mostadam and LEED certification, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

–  Oversee sustainability aspects of projects from inception to completion, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to achieve project goals.

–  Conduct regular site assessments to monitor compliance with sustainability goals and identify areas for improvement.

–  Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss sustainability objectives, progress, and challenges.

–  Provide technical guidance and support on sustainability strategies, energy modeling, and resource optimization.

–  Prepare sustainability reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting achievements
and areas for further development.

Requirements:

–  Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous.

–  Minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainability engineering or architecture, with a focus on LEED and Mostadam certifications.

–  Proven project management skills with a focus on sustainability goals and timelines.

–  Certifications in LEED AP and Mostadam AP credentials are a must.

–  Strong understanding of green building practices, sustainable materials, and environmental regulations.

–  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

–  Proficient in sustainability assessment tools and software.

–  Willingness to relocate, if required.

–  Must have a valid SCE Membership.

–  Must have a valid IQAMA (if Non-Saudi).
